A Samegrelo Table in the Heart of Tbilisi
Fire-grilled classics, hand-painted Georgian wine and the true taste of Samegrelo on every plate.
Our Story
Megruli Sakhli was built on one simple idea: keep the flavors our grandmothers taught us in the kitchen. Smoky sulguni, trout grilled over open coals, and rich Megrelian khachapuri are passed down exactly as we learned them - slow, honest and generous.
Every dish is made with local, seasonal produce, and every table is filled with qvevri-aged wine brought in from family cellars across the region.
The Cellar
Our wine list is built around small, family-run cellars who still age their grapes in clay qvevri. Every bottle is hand-finished and carries its own story to the table.
A native Samegrelo grape - light-bodied with soft, lively red-fruit character
A western Georgian white, aged in qvevri for extra depth and structure
Traditional grape spirit, poured to close out the meal

Guest Voices
The khachapuri tasted exactly like the one my grandmother made back in Samegrelo.
The wine selection is incredible - every single bottle has its own story.
The atmosphere is so warm it feels like dinner with family, not a restaurant.
